Humidity makes heavy creams and multi-serum stacks feel sticky and clog-prone. A short routine beats a long one you skip.
At a glance
Time: ~5 minutes · Best time: morning · Age: all ages · Max 4 steps.
Steps — morning
- Cleanse soft or rinse if you are dry.
- Optional: one light hydrating layer if cheeks are tight (skip if oily and comfortable).
- Gel or light moisturiser — thin layer.
- Sunscreen fluid/gel-cream — full amount. Makeup only after it sets.
Steps — evening
- Cleanse off SPF and sweat.
- Moisturiser only. Pause acids if you are breaking out or stinging.
Side effects of over-layering in humidity
- Congestion, pilling, constant blotting that removes SPF.
- Fix: fewer products, lighter textures, consistent night cleanse.
